"Pair Of Candelabra In Gilt Bronze"
Pair of candelabras in gilded bronze and brown patina from the Empire period in an antique composition. Of ancient inspiration, a female figure treated as a caryatid or vestal with soft drapery holds in each of her arms a cornucopia with an acanthus leaf serving as an arm of light. The carving technique is impeccable. The base is in green Tinos marble decorated with friezes of palmettes and floral crowns in gilded bronze.
