Object description :

"Louis XV Period Commode In Celadon Green Lacquered Oak"
Louis XV period oak chest of drawers, France, 18th century, Circa 1750, the slightly curved front opening with two large drawers and three small drawers, one of which is secret. Lacquered in celadon green with gilded recessed moldings from the 20th century. Rear top in marmoriferous stone-style lacquered wood. The construction, sides and front are 18th century, Some restorations including some rear panels changed, some drawer bottoms and interior sides replaced, the top replaced. Which explains why the decision  was then made to paint the chest of drawers. This chest of drawers is an extremely decorative piece of furniture, in good condition, whose color allows it to adapt equally well to a classic or contemporary interior.
