Cream Lacquered Chair, Louis XV Style, Painted Wood Low Seat.
Chartmante small Louis XV style chair in cream lacquered wood, also called a fireside chair. It rests on four molded and arched legs, ending at their ends with a beautiful winding. The belt, rounded and scalloped, is decorated with moldings and a pretty sculpted pattern on the front. The backrest is also pleasantly molded. The upholstery is in good house condition, it is firm and comfortable. Please note, the covering fabric is worn on the front of the seat, see photo. Beautiful work from the end of the 19th, beginning of the 20th century.
