French Gilt Bronze Clock
French clock from the DIRECTOIRE era. At the end of the 18th century; gilt bronze pendulum with 2 sphinxes which carry the white and midnight blue enamelled dial around the edge, with gold dots; 3-hand pendulum: hours, minutes and date of the revolutionary calendar in force until 1799.
At the top, 2 standing dogs resting on a basin, the dial bears the signature: AUTRAY à PARIS. In a cartridge. This clock is in its beautiful original gilding
