Small Fireplace Trim. End Of The 18th Century.
Small fireplace set consisting of a clock and two bronze sculptures. The clock has a white enameled dial, supported by two back-to-back griffins. Its base is made of marble surrounded by a net of pearls. The movement is surmounted by a covered pot. The movement of this clock is a wire movement. It has been serviced and works perfectly well. On either side of this clock, two bronze sculptures representing a man and a woman in bust, on marble colonets on a bronze base End of the 18th century. Directory-consulate. Dimensions: Clock: 30cm x 20cm x 8cm. Statuettes: 17.5cm high.
