Our seats are made in Paris in the style of Jacob from the Directoire period, around the mid-1790s. It is interesting to note that these seats are the transitional style between the Louis XVI style and the Empire: the front of the seat is still very Louis XVI, when the rear with the scrolled backrest and saber legs announces the Empire style.
