Damascene Steel Sewing Kit Scissors Case Needle Thimble 19th Century
Sewing kit in engraved steel in damascene style from the 19th century Charles X. The case is in rosewood inlaid with brass fillets. It opens and closes well. The thimble and the lace-passing needle are made of solid silver and are both hallmarked "boar's head". The die is not pierced. The scissors are in good condition with sharp blades.
