Figurative brass sculpture, by the Hungarian sculptor Szendy (1936-1972) He began his studies in France at the Beaux Arts in Paris under the guidance of Giacometti, Zadkine and Adam. He learned the art of drawing, modeling and sculpture on different materials but was particularly attached to alloys such as brass and bronze. After a passage in the abstract, he comes to the figurative using embossed, according to boilermaking techniques. His Sculptures evoke women, amplify them, sometimes distort them... he draws great inspiration from fertility.
