Juan Clara (December 6, 1875 – February 7, 19581) was a Spanish sculptor who mainly executed sculptures of children. This magnificent bronze group resting on a beautiful green and gray/beige marble base. It represents a rare subject for the artist, a young girl standing holding her finger, with her faithful canine companion sitting quietly on a chair waiting for an order from her young mistress. Signed by the artist on a bar of the chair. State ; very good, beautiful patina and base with facet in perfect condition.
