"Large Reliquary Of Saint Valentine And Saint Quirin - 18th Century"
In this elegant carved and gilded wooden frame, nestle twelve relics, including the number of apostles. A discreet analogy that we frequently find in the creation of works of piety. Thus we weave, through intention, an invisible link with the Divine. The center of this reliquary represents a hunt surrounded by four flaming hearts, in a rich and fine paperwork montage. This devotional work is to the glory of Saint Valentine and Saint Quirin, Martyrs, whose notable ex-ossibus relics are of large sizes. The hunt which overlooks them has three arches which each accommodate relics. These are those of Saint Sever, Saint Fortin and undoubtedly Sainte Opportune.
Our burning hearts protect Saint Félicien, Saint Honoré, Saint Firmin and Saint Clement, all Martyrs of the Faith.
Finally, at the cardinal points, are relics of Saint Anthony, undoubtedly Saint John, Saint Felix and Saint Joseph.
