Dressed Griffon Dog: Large Carved Wooden Jar, Black Forest, 19th Century

Beautiful and large tobacco jar, carved wooden dog portrait, hinged hat-lid, tan-colored sulphide eyes good looking.
The waxed patina, bouffant hairstyle, Sunday outfit, hard collar, bow tie and pompom beret are well done,  is only missing one cigarillo in mouth….
Work from the Swiss valleys, often called “Black Forest”, late 19th century. Similar reproduced in the documentation,
Dimensions = 18cm and 17cm. Weight: 900g.
Condition is good, no breakage, no cracking, with one end of mustache a little ground...
