Humorous scene taking place on a farm, between a dominant rooster and a submissive hen, under the mocking eye of the rabbits and the dog. Benjamin RABIER (1864 – 1939), French comic strip author, considered one of the major animal cartoonists of the 20th century. He is and remains famous for the creation of the cheese logo “The Laughing Cow”, and for his emblematic character of Gideon the Duck. The two great figures of comics, Walt Disney and Hergé, were inspired by his universe.
