A work of devotion attributed to the Carmelites as suggested by the handwritten note mentioning, “Side of Our Reverend Mother Carmelites” Under the aegis of Saint Catherine of Alexandria, our reliquary offers the relics of four saints.
In a central position, our enhanced engraving represents Saint Catherine with her traditional attributes of the palm but above all the wheel and the sword, instruments of her martyrdom. In a rich, tenderly colored montage, the very visible ex-ossibus relics are those of: Blessed Isabella, sister of Saint Louis, daughter of the King of France Louis VIII and Blanche of Castile, founder of the monastery of the Poor Clare nuns “Our -Lady of Humility » Saint Odile founder and abbess of the monastery of Hohenburg Saint Julienne, Martyr Saint Felix, Martyr
