Table Mirror - Photo Frame - Enameled Silver
Beautifully sized table mirror, to stand or hang, perhaps originally a photo frame, later modified for a different use. Solid silver, Minerva hallmark 925/000, blue enameled, Louis XVI style. Decorated with crossed ribbons and pearls. 4 medallions with a motif of flowered vases, the pediment also in silver is composed of a scroll of flowers and interlacing in the spirit of the 18th century. Very good condition, no damage to the enamel. The deep blue color rendered in the photos is very close to reality. Period second half of the 19th.
