Small Rosewood Showcase, Louis XV Style – Late 19th Century

Small display case, in Rosewood veneer arranged in a curling pattern, in Louis XV style dating from the end of the 19th century.
This refined furniture opens with a glass door, mounted on lighters, the interior perimeter of which is scalloped. This door is equipped with an authentic functional lock with brass surface-mounted entry and original key.
The interior offers three adjustable shelves on racks.
The front uprights, with cut sides and decorated with rosewood in the upper and lower parts, feature openwork bronze scraps decorated with foliage and acanthus leaves.
They end with Louis XV feet dressed in bronze clogs.
The sides crafted in the same spirit are also glazed.
This piece of furniture is topped with white Carrara marble with light gray veins.
This display case will stand out due to its small size and its three glass sides.
