- Important lantern in openwork metal and glass, work from North Africa, 20th century.The main body, entirely openwork and glazed, has an octagonal plan. Four of its faces are decorated with diamonds arranged in two registers, the other faces accommodate turrets which punctuate the volume. Each turret offers a cavity which can accommodate a candlestick with its bobeche, access being made possible thanks to a small door. The upper part, in the shape of a dome, is perforated, allowing smoke to escape.
