"Bordeaux, Sugar Tongs, Silver, 18th Century"
Very beautiful silver sugar tongs decorated with a large scallop shell, by the master goldsmith André Sainton, Bordeaux 1779. André Claude Sainton or Sanson was received as a master goldsmith in the Bordeaux community on December 24, 1773. Weight 58g. Condition, very good, the pliers are of good quality.
