Spoon, Stew, Service, Silver, Violin Nets Shells, Paris, 18th Century
Silver stew spoon, rare model violin shell nets, Paris, 1777-1778. The crowns of the hallmarks were flattened during the revolution. It is stamped with the discharge of works going abroad, the camel's head. The hallmark of the master silversmith is not legible, I guess a JA(?) perhaps Jacques Anthiaume who made this model. This model was that of King Louis XV. Weight 181g. Condition, good, traces of use, the spatula has been degraded in the past. Rare.
