Large original Biedermeier cabinet (neoclassical) in cherry wood from southern Germany circa 1820.
Very beautiful solid cherry wood and cherry veneer on solid oak wood. Hand polished shellac. Keyed rosettes, cornice and blackened decorative trim. Half-columns in solid cherry with blackened bases and capitals. 3 original iron keys, locks and hinges, 2 doors, interior with 8 black shelves and a middle partition. Two lockable drawers at the bottom. Original hand-made furniture from the early Biedermeier period around 1820/30. Old restored, good condition. Can be disassembled for transport.
