Great Belgian sculpture from the 1920s/30s. Statuary marble work of great size and impact, depicting a bust of a woman with a flower of excellent quality. Sculpture finished from the center with references to the Art Nouveau style, signed Paul Dubois on the back (see photo) referable to the sculptor Paul Du Bois (often written Dubois, 1859-1938), lacking authenticity. Work of great character and refinement, for antique dealers, interior designers and collectors of Liberty marble sculptures. Bust with pleasant floral decoration at the bottom right, the sculptor is good at highlighting the dress that reveals the woman's shoulders and back (see photo). Sculpture that shows small signs of wear, structurally sound, overall in good state of conservation.
