Presented on a square base on which is inscribed "St. John the Baptist is standing, dressed in a coat of skin and tennant in his left hand a book." Crouched near him a lamb looks at him.The sculpture is of great quality, the work of the hair is very realistic as the face.High size this piece has remained in an excellent state of preservation.
