ARTS OF ASIA-ARTS OF FIRE-JAPAN SATSUMA KINNERS MINIATURE BALUSTER VASE GLAZED EARTHENWARE MEIJI PERIOD CIRCA 1880/1890 Miniature earthenware vase with lively enameled decoration, from the Satsuma kilns, in Japan and dating from the Meiji period (1868- 1912). It presents a decor of animated scenes of characters in meetings (warlords?!) in cartridges, surrounded by stylized ornamentation in gold and color. Good workmanship, good condition (restored collar; see descriptive photos). Weight: 123 grams.
