Elegant Louis XVI period Cylinder Desk in mahogany and mahogany veneer on an oak frame. the body opens with  a convex quarter-cylinder shutter highlighted with a row of bronze beads and revealing, three small drawers (for fountain pens and inkwells), as well as a sliding tray covered in leather, Under the covered sliding table of leather are fitted with 3 drawers on the front, the one on the right containing a secret. ,The desk is topped by a cupboard with glass doors (antique glass) whose interior is covered in silk. It rests on four deeply fluted legs decorated with rings. . Cloverleaf lock entries. Top of veined white marble surrounded by an openwork brass gallery.
The locks are original, the drawer containing the secret has a double lock and a key with a larger pin,
the marble slab has a crack in the right corner,
the cylinder has a dent and a keyhole is missing on a drawer of the bottom.
the rear  is swollen on the edges but overall the furniture is in good condition. Deserves a brighter polish the furniture has 4 original keys
