Anthony van Dyck painted this portrait around 1630, of the landscape painter Marten Ryckaert (Antwerp 1587 – 1631 Antwerp), shown in Polish costume. The original by Van Dyck is in the Prado Museum in Spain. This is a partial copy, showing the head and shoulders only, which appears to date from the 17th century.
Good condition.
