Object description :

"Suite Of 4 Armchairs To The Queen Stamped By Bauve"
Dimensions: H 96 cm x W 69 cm x D 59 cm

Suite of four Queen armchairs, in beech. The violin backs are molded with stylized foliage in the upper part.
The straight armrests, with upholstered cuffs, end in a roll-up and support the whip-shaped armrest consoles.
The scrolled belt, decorated with flowers, rests on four arched legs surmounted by a fan and ending in stylized acanthus leaves.

The beautiful polychrome tapestry, with different decorations, features rural characters in stylized scrollwork.

Very beautiful Louis XV's work, stamped on the four armchairs by BAUVE (Mathieu Bauve, carpenter who became a master in 1754) with its 18th century tapestry, with small dots.
