Superb Napoleon III period scriban storage unit in ebony, blackened wood and ivory and bone marquetry. Furniture attributed to Ferdinando POGLIANI (1832-1899). This very beautiful opens onto two doors very richly inlaid with goddesses of the arts framed by foliage friezes. Two drawers in strip with horse marquetry. The scriban part receives a scene of a shepherdess breastfeeding her child. The open flap reveals golden red leather and a work space with drawers and storage. In the upper part, a gallery with alternating balusters. This piece of furniture can be installed in the middle of a room because the back is inlaid with ivory fillets. Very good condition of the house, some repairs and refilling of ivory.
