"Swedish Box"
Large Swedish so called ‘Svepask’ or lunchbox
This large bentwood boc ‘Svepask’ was made for a big lunch, the largest one I have ever found!
The technique of these boxes is always the same, you push the end away and the lid comes loose from its bottom
A wonderful bentwood , beautifully all made by hand back in the early 1800’s
Stunning oceanblue colour and a lovely timeworn patina
