Statue representing a kneeling female character. This woman is very well adorned and must belong to a high social class. Indeed, the sculptor represented her with bracelets, anklets and an imposing necklace. Her symmetrical face follows traditional beauty standards. Her face is topped with a beautiful ogival headdress. The theme of the cup bearer is frequently illustrated in objects of worship linked to the orisha, or Yoruba pantheon.
