Important and Sublime Vegetable Tureen in solid silver with contour fillets and pinched ribs. Lid and body engraved with Alliance Coat of Arms under Helm / Helmet. Handles with laurel branches and attached berries and dome-shaped lid surmounted by a large broccoli figural finial resting on its leafy terrace. Very finely crafted from the finest quality silver, it is punched with the Minerva 1st Standard Hallmark (.950), Title Hallmark called "crab" and mark of the Master Goldsmith Gustave ODIOT (O with antique lampe) active in 1865, signature in full "ODIOT Paris", and the piece is numbered. This high quality covered tureen by the prestigious Gustave Odiot is in very good condition, furthermore revised and cleaned by our Parisian Goldsmith, and just light signs of use to note..
