"Empire Clock Representing A Woman With A Butterfly 19th"
Pretty finely chiseled gilded bronze clock (gilding in used condition), decorated with a woman dressed in antique style facing a butterfly placed on a bouquet of flowers. The base of this rectangular clock has a rich decoration of three scenes surrounded by laurel leaves: - in its middle a cherub and cornucopia, - and on each side quivers, an urn and ducks, all resting on small round feet. The dial surrounded by a floral frieze, Empire period early 19th century.
