Floral Fantasy, 18th Century: Bouquetière Commode, Nevers Earthenware

Flower stand in shape of a French Régence chest of drawers with curved sides, pot-bellied, 4 drawers, nicely decorated in the colors of Nevers, with this beautiful yellow contrasting with olive green, and dark manganese console. Beautiful glaze. Drawers designed with care, curved sides each decorated with a bouquet.... Top of this flower stand is pierced of 14 holes, and one filling vent, we can imagine that this flower stand filling must have been great for young girls of 18thc.
Burgundian earthenware from 18th century, a pretty, very decorative object.
Dimensions: 21cm x 13cm x 12cm, weight: 1.5kg.
