Cup in solid silver and vermeil, very late 18th century for Moscow. Resting on a pedestal and a small plain gorge, it is generously flared, the upper part lined with fine beaded friezes. The bowl is encased in a radiant faux-cut of oblong leaves in vermeil, (period vermeil) the goldsmith thus playing with a magnificent contrast with the silver, thus emphasizing the elegance, refinement and delicacy of execution of this very beautiful piece. Interior of the cup in vermeil. Initials topped with a marquis crown Micro-marks, tiny incidents visible on photos, no dents, very regular body, very good condition.
