Transition Style Petite Commode With Marble Top
A charming French transitional style 'table de chevet', or bedside table, the façade of which features two drawers magnificently inlaid with a diamond motif across their fronts. The sides are also inlaid with fabulous diamond-shaped veneers, and the table is raised on four slender cabriole legs inlaid with diagonal veneers, and with delicate gilt bronze ormolu mounts and drawer pulls. The top is shaped from creamy well-veined marble. Please note that there are some small imperfections to the veneer in places.
