An ivory hand clenched into a fist, at its base a silver rim mounted on a turned blackened boxwood handle. In the style of reading hands but the closed hand here seems to refer to a symbolic dimension rather than a very specific practical use. It is possible that the assembly was made from heterogeneous elements. Beautiful and curious object. Dimensions: 22.3 cm
