Denmark, royal factory in Copenhagen, very pretty ceramic vase made by Jorgen Mogensen (born in 1927), one of the most renowned potters and sculptors in Denmark. He has worked notably with Axel Salto and Nils Thorsson. This vase, created in 1968, presents a frieze of stylized birds in shades of brown on a marbled background typical of his productions. Beautiful density of the material. Weight: 1.108 kg.
Height 14 cm. The scale indicator in the last photograph is a small model of a lighter from a brand known to everyone. The generous shapes give this piece a beautiful presence. Good condition. No shock, no crack. Under the base, mark of the royal manufacture of Copenhagen and monogram of Jorgen Mogensen.
