18th Century Commode In Marquetry.
Small regency chest of drawers from the early 18th century, in rosewood marquetry. Opening with four drawers mounted on oak. Beautiful decoration of finely chiseled gilded bronzes, from a later period. The uprights are rounded and, which is rare, have concave and convex grooves. The rear was redone by a cabinetmaker during the 19th century. Small restorations of use of the marquetry, varnished with a pad by our workshop. Original royal red marble.
