In mahogany and period veneer, fruit wood marquetry, in the taste of Italy, romantic scenes and foliage on the drawers mounted on oak and fir, dovetailed. Gilded bronzes with ribbons for the keyholes and falling rings for the draws. Charcoal gray marble top. Bears the stamp of a cabinetmaker named LACROIX.
