In a flower branch It rests on 4 feet decorated with flowers (traces of welding on 1 foot). Marked on the back "guaranteed pure pewter" and signed lower right.J. Garnier

Jean Garnier (1853 - c. 1910) sculptor, enameller, engraver, d Vendée origin. Self-taught with complete knowledge, he also created enamel jewellery. Artist active at the end of the 19th century. Appeared at the Salon des Artistes Français where he obtained an Honorable mention in 1892 (Bénézit extract).
