Pair Of Cherubs, Putti, In Bronze After Clodion 19th Century
Completely representative of Clodion's work, these two bronze prints from the 19th century are very beautifully executed and of a high quality of carving. These two cherubs are dressed in drapery, one wearing a garland of flowers and wearing a crown of flowers, and the other wearing a garland of vines and crowned with vines. Unsigned. Very beautiful, well-preserved brown patina. Important Siena marble bases in very good condition. Total height, 27.5 cm and 28.5 cm Height of the bases, 7.5 cm Height of the bronzes, 20 cm and 21 cm.
