Clay cuchimilcos belonging to the Chancay culture. This culture developed between 1200 and 1470 on the central coast of Peru, and had its center in today's Huaral province, in the Lima region. A consensus is established by experts in the field on the fact that this type of statuette acted as a guardian of the tombs or as a companion in the afterlife for the deceased of the Chancay culture.
