Serge Vandercam (Copenhagen, 1924 -Brussels, 2005)
Height: 30 cm. Base diameter: 10 cm. Signed and dated on the base and on one side. 1992.
Belgian protean artist: photographer, painter, sculptor, ceramist, engraver and filmmaker.
Participated in the Cobra adventure in 1949. Became friends with Dotremont and Noiret. First paintings in 1952.
Ceramist at Albisola from 1960 to 1964.
Retrospectives at the PMMK in Ostend in 1999, at the Botanique in Brussels in 2001 and at the BAM in Mons in 2010.
