Beautiful and elegant pair of walnut armchairs, Directoire period, 1795-1799, late 18th century. The pair of armchairs that we are presenting rests on two baluster legs on the front and two saber legs for the rear leg. A slightly curved belt decorated with crossettes for the connection dice complete the decor. The armrests have a barrel ending in scrapers. A large backrest marrying an elegant curve finished with a winding on each end. In perfect condition, modern striped fabric. Private collection. Dimensions: h.90 cm x w.60 cm x d.50 cm.
