Perfectly functional, the glass hourglass part is set by 2 cylinders with 3 feet and held by 3 columns in silver metal, the color purple sand.No visible scratches from use and very nice shine, but 2 places show traces of desilvering, (under 1 foot and 1 part of a column) see last 2 photos.
