"Saint Jacques 18th Century Reliquary In Polychrome Wood"
Superb and large Saint-Jacques reliquary from the 18th century in gilded and silvered wood. It rests on a molded and carved base decorated with a relic niche in its center. Bearded scallop stands dressed in a long silver and gold tunic decorated with shells. He wears a hat also decorated with scallops and holds in his left hand a pilgrim's staff (posterior). The face is fine and the general polychromy is in good condition. Large quality work and in very opn state of conservation.
