Louis XVI Commode In Marquetry, Stamped Etienne Avril.
Etienne Avril (1748-1791) Great Parisian cabinetmaker received master in 1774. Very beautiful marquetry of rosewood, rosewood and precious wood for this 18th century jump chest of drawers. Opening with two drawers without crosspiece and three drawers in belt. Simulated fluted uprights. Square sheath feet. Original bronze trim for the drop rings, keyholes and sabots. A pull key for the small middle drawer. White veined marble, grooved, original and in good condition. Very good state of conservation for this chest of drawers which has not undergone any restorations. Delivery possible, please contact us.
