My father being a painter (Evaristo Estivill), I have always lived among brushes and canvases. He took me very early to museums, and let me draw or
paint in my corner while he was working on his canvases. I very often find inspiration in novels, poems: a word or a sentence gives me a feeling, an inspiration that I try to transmit spontaneously on the web. The Bible is the work that has inspired me the most: I draw illustrations which are not necessarily faithful to the Bible, but which do not have either intended to shock the viewer! After my first exhibitions in the 70s, I was exhibited at gallery K, held by the poet Roger Kowalski. When the latter closed, I started to exhibit at the Dettinger gallery, located on Place Gailleton in Lyon, in which I still regularly presents my paintings.
