This roller vase bears, in medallions, two mascarons of fauns, of different expressions and treated in 'grisaille'. They are part of parchment 'panels', of a beautiful deep blue. On the top and bottom, two friezes of the same blue are decorated in black. Beautiful enamel work from the years 1870-1880. Under the base the hollow mark of the Viellard house in Bordeaux as well as the blue-gray stamp of Bordeaux.
