Beautiful light and a sense of intense cold characterize this canvas painting signed Mério Améglio (1897-1970). In the center, the windmill, capped with snow, stands out against the clear blue sky. In the foreground, the snow-covered Rue Lepic is slippery: on the right, a mother and her little girl are cautious, and on the left, a passerby falls near a parked car. The red entrance to the "Galette" stands out attractively. In the background, one can make out the sails of another windmill and the snow-covered rooftops. The painter's signature is found in the lower right corner. In the lower left corner, the location depicted: 'Montmartre'. An elegant painting from the post-war years, well-framed in its original condition. Very good condition.
