Émile Auguste Diffloth, (1856-1933) was a French ceramist and decorator. Pupil of his father Albert Diffloth and Albert-Ernest Carrier-Belleuse, son of the music engraver Jeanne Cécile Avisse, specialist in smooth ceramics (not cracked), member of the Society of Decorative Artists, collaborator of the Kéramis earthenware factory, professor of ceramic technique at the University of Saint-Louis, he exhibited in various galleries including the Simonson Gallery, the Galliera Museum, the Society of French Artists, in Antwerp, Brussels, Paris, Liège and Saint-Louis . We also owe him the wall decoration of the palace of the Count of Flanders in Brussels.
