Burma, mid-20th century, very pretty panel in red, black and green lacquer depicting a couple wearing traditional clothes. The woman is a dancer; the man is a musician. A large frieze depicting a stylized plant motif is visible around the edge. The set is of very good quality. Height 40.5cm. Width 30.5cm. Good condition except for slight wear and micro-scratches without impact.
